What Does Marbled Beef Steaks Called
Steak can be enjoyed in so many different but very simple ways. You don't need to be a great chef to cook a steak well or to prepare it in an interesting and tasty way. Buying a good piece of steak does most of the work for you as basically anyone can pan fry it to perfection. Do you like your steak rare, medium rare, well done or somewhere in between? Should the juices be flowing from the meat when it's on your plate or should they have evaporated during the cooking process? The choice is yours. When you've tried cooking it in every way imaginable try marinating steak.
Worcestershire Sauce
If you like soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, why not try this first marinade? As well as those two sauces, you'll need to marinate your steak in garlic butter, basil, parsley, lemon juice, olive oil and season with pepper. Blend all those ingredients together for 30 seconds and then pour over the steak. Now cover and refrigerate for at least eight hours before cooking your steak however you like.
Red Wine
Get a Ziplock bag or an air-tight container and add the steak. Now put the following ingredients in – 3/4 cup red wine, 1/2 cup olive oil, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, four garlic cloves, 1/2 tablespoon rosemary. Season with salt and pepper and then seal up the bag or container. Now make sure that the marinade covers the meat completely and leave it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes but around six hours is best before cooking to perfection.
Fajita
Spice up your steak with his recipe. Add 1/3 cup lime juice, 1/4 cup pineapple juice, two tablespoons of soy sauce, one minced garlic clove, one tablespoon paprika, 1/2 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes, 1/4 cup cilantro then two tablespoons of olive oil. As before, season with salt and pepper and leave for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
Garlic and Herb
If you're looking for something a little more traditional, why not try this garlic and herb recipe? Add 1/4 cup olive oil to two minced cloves of garlic into your Ziplock bag. Then put in 1/2 tablespoon of dried rosemary followed by the same quantity of dried oregano, dried thyme, dried basil and sea salt. Now put in 1/4 cup ground black pepper and then introduce your steak. As before, make sure the marinade covers the whole steak before leaving in the fridge for at least 30 minutes but ideally longer.
Lemon and Pepper
This is another classic that everyone will enjoy. You'll need one tablespoon lemon zest and three tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice, to begin with. Now add in two minced garlic cloves, one tablespoon crushed black pepper and two tablespoons of olive oil. Add 1/2 tablespoon sea salt and leave the flavors to infuse with the meat over a six-hour period in the fridge to get the best out of this recipe.
Ginger Soy
There's a kick to this next one so it's not for everyone. You'll need 1/4 cup soy sauce (preferably the low sodium variety), two tablespoons rice wine vinegar, 1/3 cup olive oil, and one tablespoon raw honey. Now mince four garlic cloves and add them to the marinade along with one tablespoon minced fresh ginger for a marinate sauce like no other.
Chipotle Peppers
This final recipe is for those who are a little bored of steak and want something different. You?ll need two tablespoons of adobo sauce, which comes from chipotle pepper cans, 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin, 1/2 tablespoon onion powder, 1/2 tablespoon granulated garlic, 1/2 tablespoon sea salt, 1/4 tablespoon black pepper. Now add in one tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice and two tablespoons of olive oil to create your spicy marinate.
